ExoQuick-LP for lipoprotein pre-clear & exosome isolation
ExoQuick-LP is a powerful and efficient solution for isolating exosomes while simultaneously removing lipoprotein contaminants from plasma or serum samples. This innovative reagent ensures high-purity extracellular vesicle (EV) recovery, making it ideal for downstream applications such as proteomics, RNA analysis, and biomarker discovery. With its simple, user-friendly protocol, ExoQuick-LP saves time and ensures consistent, reproducible results, all without the need for ultracentrifugation. Perfect for researchers working with small sample volumes, ExoQuick-LP optimizes your workflow for reliable exosome isolation every time.
Tutorial: How to Use ExoQuick-LP for Lipoprotein Pre-Clear and Exosome Isolation:
Step-by-Step Guide for Exosome Isolation with ExoQuick-LP
- Prepare Your Sample
- Collect plasma or serum samples using proper collection methods.
- Centrifuge the sample at 3000 x g for 10–15 minutes to remove any cellular debris or aggregates.
- Transfer the clarified plasma or serum to a fresh tube.
- Add ExoQuick-LP Reagent
- Add the appropriate volume of ExoQuick-LP reagent to the sample based on the kit instructions.
- Mix the solution thoroughly by inverting the tube several times.
- Incubate the Mixture
- Incubate the sample and ExoQuick-LP mixture at 4°C for 30 minutes. This allows the reagent to bind lipoproteins and initiate the precipitation of extracellular vesicles.
- Centrifuge to Isolate the EV Pellet
- Spin the tube at 10,000 x g for 10 minutes to pellet the exosomes and remove lipoprotein contaminants.
- Carefully discard the supernatant, ensuring the pellet remains intact.
- Resuspend the Pellet
- Resuspend the exosome pellet in a suitable buffer (e.g., PBS or a specialized lysis buffer) for downstream applications.
- Mix gently to ensure the pellet is fully dissolved.
- Proceed with Your Research
- Use the purified exosomes for RNA extraction, protein analysis, or any other application requiring high-purity EVs.
